Now I’m rather disturbed about the previous strip. It sometimes hard to understand what’s going on and what exactly is meant. Unless that’s your intention is to keep us guessing until you reveal more which can be perfectly fine. Just that I don’t know if I’m being rather clueless or not.
But it looks like there’s nothing between the monster-death-moose and his strikes aimed at Nevhna and Wolf. So where is that lesser wolf brother (I forget what to call them) that was charging to block the mdm in the previous strip? I wondered last week about the flame-coloured smoke from his eyes so checking again, I noticed the brown ‘whatevers’ the mdm was shooting had went through his single finger of light above his head and that it also had flame-coloured smoke coming from it. Did the mdm kill/destroy this lesser wolf and now Nevhna and Wolf HAVE to leave the forest to survive?
This is grim. I suppose it’s too much to hope that the cute magic cats and the woman return and can help. Your story really is a fairy tale meant for grownups. It has a mix of warm sweet elements, humour, adventure yet forbidding even somewhat scary parts (this coming from a person who can’t stand horror movies as cheesy but frightening).
(Sorry for the long posts.)
