I don’t think our wolf friend wants it to end, and while Nevhna might be glad she’s reached the end of the forest, she’s also wistful it’s over.
Or is it? The story line of the menacing moose and some of scary creatures haven’t been tied up yet. And I’m still hoping for the reappearance of the magical cats and the funny little creatures near the start of the story who stole Nevhna’s ink.
I don’t think either of them truly wants it to end. The forest has definitely *grown* on Nevhna, and the wolf seems to genuinely enjoy her presence and company, not just her stories.
